Dear colleagues,

Thank you for your efforts in registering bullying incidents in SOM! I can see that this process is already well underway. However, I would like to clarify one point: some bullying incidents are currently being registered as guidance reports (begeleidingsverslag). Our preference is to register bullying incidents as “Incidents,” as this allows me to view them in a clear and organized way.

You may have noticed that only tutor and department leaders can create incident reports. Therefore, I’d like to remind you that the first step in addressing bullying behavior is always to involve the tutor. If you experience or witness something as a teacher, please send an email to the tutor so that they can register the incident in SOM.

If you decide that an incident is better registered as a guidance report (begeleidingsverslag), I kindly ask you to create a message for me in SOM. This ensures that I receive a notification and stay informed.
